It works great, my only complaint is if you use the laser to align with Polaris. The camera blocks the laser when itās in position, so you have to move the camera aside, align the laser, then compose. This causes alignment errors. They need to make a little bracket so the laser is more off to the side of everything. Then you could align the laser and compose your image knowing you havenāt knocked t out of alignment.
Light weight and reliable, I used it to track comet tsuchinshan-atlas with 200mm lens and the images turned out really great. I look forward to doing some wide angle milkyway shots.
Fantastic piece of kit, So light weight and and works well with the Alyn wallace V and Z mount. I look forward to using this when I go too La palma next year. I strongly recommend this tracking mount to anyone interested in astrophotography and doing wide angled milkyway images or panoramic images. I also look forward to seeing how this works with deep space astrophotography.
The Move Shot Move Nomad is a wonderful tool for astrophotography in the field. I use this tool on my transportable photo equipment, like stativ, camera with lens (normal holiday photography) and now with the new nomad tracker (astrophotography), it is very small, mighty and sturdy equipment, which is a good compagnion at my holiday trips through europe.
Really like the simplicity it brings in a small package. Iāve been able to take 60sec exposures using a 130mm lensāandromeda with MSM!
My only dislike is the polar alignment scope illumination is not great using the fluorescent paper in a tube. I have to āchargeā it with a bright light which means another 20-30 minutes of getting readjusted to the dark. And the brightness is not good in the scope. I wish it had an attached led like my svbony alignment eyepiece used on my Celestron.
I have the original MSM tracker but wanted a bit more weight capacity. Both have worked well and as advertised. I would buy again if needed.
I have received MSM NOMAD TRACKER and the delivery was fast. All works as described only the laser was not calibrated properly. Otherwise all is great.

FĆ¼r Einsteiger ist dieser Nomad-Startracker wirklich eine sehr gute Wahl. Er ist handlich und leicht. Mit dem Zubehƶr im Shop lƤsst sich auf einfache Weise eine tolle NachfĆ¼hrung des Sternenhimmels erreichen. Leider ist die EinfĆ¼hrung von Lasern in die Schweiz verboten, was ich sehr bedaure und somit keine Anpeilung des Polarstern mit Laser damit mƶglich. Das anstelle des Lasers erworbene Zielfernrohr konnte ich leider wegen schlechtem Wetter noch nicht testen. Der nƤchste Schritt fĆ¼r eine Optimierung ist sicherlich der Kauf einer Polarwiege und oder einer V oder Z Plattform.
