Upon recommendation of established astrophotographers, I bought the MSM solution. It was easy to setup and I was very excited by the results of an extended exposure. Highly recommend this tool for beginners like me that enjoy the hobby.
Although the previous MSM tracker was an excellent piece of kit and a great improvement over my previously owned Optron Skytracker, I still found it to be somewhat clumbersome and awkward to set up.
The Nomad is in a different league, being smaller, easier to carry and a doddle tt set up.
Although I am still something of a novice on the steep learning curve, use of the nomad has allowed me to produce images far superior to any of my previous efforts.
All in all this is a great piece of kit and excellent value for money.
This is a great product if you are just getting into astrophotography. The reason you are getting this is so you can shoot longer exposed images without the trails caused by the movement of the earth. That is exactly what this allows you to and it is engineered to do this easily.

Got my MSM Nomad tracker as promised. I took it out for one night to Wakan village, a tiny beautiful village situated on top of the Jebel Akhdar mountain.
Setting up the tracker and aligning it with Polaris for the first time was very smooth. Took some amazing pictures of the milkyway core rising at 3:30am.
The tracker is so tiny that it fits in my camera bag. This week Iām in India and shall be shooting stars in Goa, canāt wait!

My order arrived within a reasonable time and well packed. The Grab & Go Star Tracker is a compact and well built unit. The accessories which came with it seem to be of equal quality. Set up and polar alignment was quick and easy. Due to weather conditions I have only been able to take it out once, but the initial results are very promising. Once I become adept at focusing I believe the images will be stunning. I am looking forward to a summer of stargazing and astrophotography!
