Perché ne ho bisogno?
In realtà ci sono molti casi in cui puntatori laser o cannocchiali polari non sono possibili sul campo, quindi l'allineamento polare con le app del telefono è abbastanza conveniente ed è per questo che è necessario un supporto per smartphone.
Ecco alcune situazioni comuni in cui vorresti usarlo:
● in paesi come l'Australia e la Svizzera dove i puntatori laser sono per lo più vietati

Come eseguire l'allineamento polare con i telefoni?
1.Imposta bene il tuo Rotator e la fotocamera.
2.Montare il supporto del telefono sul MSM Rotator.
3.Apri un'app del planetario e vai alla sua funzione AR, cerca il Polo Nord / Sud (dipende dall'emisfero in cui ti trovi) con l'app.
4.Regola il gesto della configurazione finché il telefono non è allineato con Polar sull'app.

Come montarlo?
1.Utilizzare una vite da 3/8 "o 1/4" per montare il supporto del telefono sul rotator, il lato con una livella a bolla.
2.Montare il telefono sul supporto del telefono e bloccarlo bene controllando le manopole.
3.Allinea il bordo del telefono con il bordo del Rotator.
4.Bloccare la posizione ruotando la manopola sul retro.

Bought the Nomad to supplement my existing MSM tracker but it’s great to use - much less complicated than the original and the increased weight limit allows me to use a variety of lenses comfortably-used with both Nikon d850 and the Nikon z8 - no trails when using only the laser to align up to 240 seconds!
I am very pleased with my MSM phone mount for my tracker. It is exactly what I needed in order to make my polar aligning much easier. The mount sets up quickly, is easy to use and is sturdy. Definitely is a handy device to have when using a star tracker.
For polar alignment you need only two positions 90 degrees or 180 degrees on the device. The ball mechanism complicates the process in that it becomes difficult to find these positions. Better device would either have stops at these positions or a hinge with stops at these points
Also wonder if batteries in the tracker interfere with the compas in the phone
Love the ease of use and polar alignment is super easy, even here in the southern hemisphere. For a tracker that fits in the palm of your hand, you can't beat the Nomad for travelling light. highly recommend this tracker!

Really pleased with the phone mount for my nomad tracker. I can’t always use the laser for polar alignment as there are trees in the garden that block my view. Thought I would give this a try and can say it works really well. Easy to attach and super easy to use with a phone app to polar align. Highly recommended for situations where you can’t use a laser or polar scope. Great work MSM team! 👍🏻
Excellent product, made rough polar alignment very easy.
This phone mount is great for using your cell phone to do your polar alignment. The only drawback is if you're using a Samsung Fold (any version) in a case. When folded it's slightly too thick for the mount to grip the phone properly without interfering with the side buttons.
I was trying all manner of ways to make a phone holder for use with my nomad so I could polar align in daylight.
And then I come across this one. Although I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, I have set it up, and it seems to be just the ticket. Like all things MSM it is very well made, and I have no doubt it will come in very handy.
The phone mount is easy to use to set up simple polar alignment. It is well constructed and holds strong while it’s being moved around.
