Richard's Astro Kit - Ideal for Southern Hemisphere

How To Use This Kit?

1. Attach 360° Panoramic Panning Base on the tripod

2. Attach wedge to panning base

3. Slide the Phone Mount to the rail of wedge

4. Open the App Photopills or other similar app and adjust the panning base and wedge to do polar alignment

5. Take out the phone and phone mount after the alignment, attach NOMAD to the wedge

6. Screw the Double-Panning Ball Head to NOMAD, attach the camera on the top then you are ready to take pictures of stars.

Adding a panning base to your tripod simplifies the rotation process. With the wedge's tilting knob, you can effortlessly and accurately position your setup for polar alignment, making it a breeze to align your equipment.

Phone Mount with Arca Swiss Rails:

Secure the phone mount into the wedge, attach your phone, and after achieving polar alignment, easily slide out the mount then connect the Nomad tracker.

Double-Panning Ball Head:

Double Panning Bases: Unlike standard ball heads, our innovative design features double panning bases, one on the bottom and another on the arca clamp base, enabling you to set your camera at various angles for optimal shooting.
